All aquatic programs will be at the Marysville High School Pool.  Please enter the pool through the doors off the Delaware Avenue bus loop.  All COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.

Summer 2021 Swim Programs

Swim Team

The swim team is for boys and girls ages 6 – 18 living in Marysville School District.  All practices are Monday through Thursday with swim meets being held on Friday mornings for all age groups.  Swimmers MUST attend at least two practices a week to be able to participate in the meets.  All participants must be able to swim one length of the pool in any stroke and will be tested on the first day.

Dates: June 21 – July 30
Practice Times:
Ages 6 – 10; 1 – 2 p.m.
Ages 11 – 18; 2 – 3 p.m.
Location: Marysville High School Pool
Cost: $80/resident; $110 non-resident

Private Swim Lessons

Receive one on one instruction from one of our certified lifeguards.  These are offered Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m.  Call the Recreation Department to arrange a private lesson with an instructor.

$15/half hour
$75/6 sessions
$150/12 sessions

Special Needs Swim Lessons

These are 20 minute swim lessons that will get special needs children in the pool playing games and learning to swim.  They will be one on one with an instructor.  Participants must be toilet trained.  Call the Recreation Department to arrange a time and an instructor.

Cost: $50 for six sessions; once weekly.

Pool Rules 

  • Parents/adults not swimming will be required to view swimmers from balcony.  Non-swimmers will not be allowed on deck.
  • No coaching from the pool deck or balcony allowed.
  • Diving blocks and diving board are not open to the public.
  • Children under 7 yrs. old must have a adult in the pool with them.
  • Children in diapers must wear swimming diapers.
  • Long hair must be pulled back.
  • Only swim suits and swim shorts are allowed.

Senior Water Aerobics

Suspended due to Covid-19.

Senior citizens may enjoy the benefit of warm, therapeutic water (82-86 degrees) with handicap accessibility, including an entrance/exit ramp.  For more information contact the Recreation Department at 455-1302. This program is open to residents of St. Clair County 50 years and older and is a group exercise program without a lead instructor.  Visit Marysville Recreation Department on Facebook for cancellation information.
