To register please visit Marysville Recreation Department during normal business hours at 867 E. Huron Blvd. or register online.  Please note you must first create an account when registering online.

Pickleball will be offered indoors this year!  Please contact the Recreation Department at (810) 455-1302 if you are interested in participating.

Open Recreation

Morton Elementary School is available for drop-in basketball (Tuesdays) and volleyball (Thursdays).  This program is open to adults (16 & older) and children with adult supervision.  Visit Marysville Recreation Department on Facebook for cancellation information.  Please enter through back parking lot.

When: October 1 – December 12
Time: 7 – 9 p.m.

  • Drop-in Resident: $2/Drop-in Non-resident: $4;
  • Individual Pass Resident: $30/Individual Pass Non-resident: $60
  • Family Pass Resident: $50/Family Pass Non-resident: $100

Must provide proof of residency for all passes.

POPULAR CLASS! Rockin’ Retirees with Deborah Forster

This class is for everyone age 50 and up whether you’ve been exercising or if you simply want to age in a healthy way.  This class will provides cardio, resistance, flexibility, core and balance training.  Every class is self-paced and chairs are provided for those who need them.  Join certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor Deborah Forster for a fun and energetic hour at the Marysville Community Center. There is no class Thanksgiving week.

Days: Tuesday/Thursday; November 5 – December 19
Time: 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Where: Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd.
Fee: $20 (12 sessions)/$10 (six sessions)

Sit to be Fit

Chair exercise class for older adults and anyone needing slow and gentle movements. Perfect for both men and women. Join personal trainer and group fitness instructor Deborah Forster as she guides the class in exercise focusing on core strength, flexibility and balance training. No class Thanksgiving week.

When: Wednesdays; November 5 – December 17
Time: 10 – 10:45 a.m.
Where: Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd.
Fee: $20 (12 Sessions); $10 (six sessions)

NEW! Yoga: Beginner/Intermediate

For all ages this class combines physical exercise, mental meditation and breathing patterns to help strengthen muscles and relieve stress. If you’re looking to gain flexibility, balance and coordination, certified yoga instructor and personal trainer Deborah Forster will lead you to success. Please provide own yoga mat. blocks and straps are permitted if you wish to bring them
