NEW! Women’s Self Defense

Come learn empowering self-defense techniques in a safe environment with a knowledgeable instructor.  This class teaches safety strategies and physical techniques which enable someone to successfully escape and resist violent attacks.  All students will be taught learning techniques with and without the use of a self defense tool (included with registration).

When: Thursday, January 30
Time: 5:30—7:30 p.m.
Where: Marysville Community Center
Fee: $25/resident; $35/non-resident

POPULAR CLASS! Rockin’ Retirees with Deborah Forster

Whether you’ve been exercising or you simply want to age in a healthy way, this class provides cardio, resistance, flexibility, core and balance training.  Every class is self-paced and chairs are provided for those who need them.  Join certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor Deborah Forster for a fun and energetic hour at the Marysville Community Center.

When: Tuesdays/Thursdays beginning January 7
Time: 8:30 – 9:30 a.m.
Where: Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd.
Fee: $20 (12 sessions)/$10 (six sessions)

Yoga: Beginner/Intermediate

For all ages this class combines physical exercise, mental meditation and breathing patterns to help strengthen muscles and relieve stress. If you’re looking to gain flexibility, balance and coordination, certified yoga instructor and personal trainer Deborah Forster will lead you to success. Please provide own yoga mat. Blocks and straps are permitted if you wish to bring them.

When: Mondays; January 13 – February 24
Time: 7 – 7:45 p.m.

Fee: $30 (six sessions)

TRANSFORM live w/ Nina!

This music-driven, high-intensity cardio-conditioning class has reinvented the use of the step platform. In just 30 minutes you will improve your cardiovascular conditioning, enhance your balance and agility and maximize your power while getting a total body burn. Join Nina Rankin to get ready to step up and TRANSFORM LIVE! Please bring your own step if you have one.

When: Tuesdays; January 14 – February 18
Time: 6:30 p.m.
