2019 Summer Recreation Program Information

Click here to view the Summer Recreation Program Guide.  REGISTRATION BEGINS MONDAY, MAY 6, 2019 at 8 a.m. for residents only and in-person registration at Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd.  Online and in-person registration for non-residents begins Tuesday, May 7th.

Teen Volunteer Program

Teens will have the opportunity to get work experience while developing good work habits and giving back to their community.  Volunteers are needed to assist with sports programs, aquatics, playground and special events.  All volunteers receive a t-shirt and great work experience.  Applications are due by Friday, May 31, 2019.  Volunteers must attend orientation which will be held on Friday, June 13th at 2 p.m.  Applications available in the Recreation Department or at the link below.

FUN! Mom ‘n Me Wood Sign Making Experience

When: Wednesday, May 8
Time: 6 – 8 p.m.
Where: Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd.
Cost: Varies depending on sign chosen

Marysville Recreation is teaming up with ‘Wood Signs with Lisa’ to offer an adult/child combo fun night of interactive wood sign making.  Join us to create your own beautifully designed, personalized signs.

Parent’s Night Out

When: Friday, May 17
Time: 6 – 9 p.m.
Where: Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd.
Who: Elementary school aged kids
Cost: $10

Parents can enjoy an evening out while your child(ren) have a fun night with activities, snacks and a movie.

Boat Launch Season Passes Now Available

Cost: free/residents; $50/non-residents
Purchase at Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Must have proof of identification, boat and trailer registration at the time of purchase.

Pavilion Rentals in Marysville City Park

When: April 1st (residents); May 1st (non-residents)
Time/Day: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Monday – Friday
Where: Reserve at Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd.
Cost: $30/residents; $70/non-residents
Person making reservation must be present at time of reservation and the day of the rental.  Please bring your driver’s license to confirm residency.

Registration Information

  • Walk In: Marysville Community Center, 867 E. Huron Blvd. and pay with cash, check or credit/debit card.
  • Mail: Please send a registration form to Marysville Recreation Department at 1111 Delaware Avenue, Marysville, MI  48040.
  • Online: to pay with credit/debit card.  We do not accept American Express.

Registration is based on a first come, first served basis.  Registration cannot be made via phone or e-mail.  Payment must be made upon registration.  Please make checks payable to the ‘City of Marysville’.

Marysville Community Center

The Recreation Department is currently accepting reservations for the community center.  The rental fee is $40/hour resident; $100/hour non-resident.  Please stop by the Recreation Department to reserve your date today or click here to view more information.

***Important Information***

Proof of Marysville residency required for registration. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and cannot be made over the phone or by e-mail.  Payment must be made upon registration.  Please make checks payable to the City of Marysville.

Refunds: Can be authorized only BEFORE the second program meeting unless it is a special event or a one night program.

Cancellations: All registrations will be fully refunded should an entire program be cancelled by the Marysville Recreation Department.  We reserve the right to cancel classes due to insufficient registration or conditions beyond our control.
