Marysville Police Department patrols approximately seven square miles with 14 sworn officers. The department also employs two administrative staff in our Records Division and several public safety cadets. Through on-going professional development, community partnerships and a strong team environment, our police department’s main focus is on keeping Marysville a safe community.
The mission of the Marysville Police Department is to establish partnerships within the community, to implement new ideas and concepts and to maintain a safe environment for all. The promotion of good will, community respect, trust and confidence in the department will continue to be of the highest priority for all employees.

Lost & Found: For any item lost or found in the City of Marysville please contact the Police Department at (810) 364-6300.
Hunting: Hunting is not allowed in the City of Marysville. Firearms are not to be discharged in the City – including BB guns.
Pistol Permit: To obtain a permit to purchase a pistol there is a $10 notary fee. Permits are good for ten days. When applying for a permit, a criminal history is run on your name and a true or false questionnaire is given. If approved it will be issued while you wait.
Curfew: For minors under twelve years of age curfew is 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. seven days a week unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. For minors twelve years through sixteen years curfew is 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 12 midnight to 6 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights.
Snow Ordinance Parking: This ordinance is in effect from December 1 to April 1. During this time, parking is not allowed on streets or avenues between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
