Bird Watching
Nature enthusiasts who visit our riverfront during the winter and spring months may catch a glimpse of the many species of migratory birds that frequent our river and nearby woods.
Several species of diving waterfowl winter over on the St. Clair River. Canvasbacks, Common and Hooded Mergansers, Buffleheads, Northern Shovelers and other ducks are among those that can be seen.

With spring’s arrival many migratory song birds visit as they travel to their breeding areas in northern Michigan and Canada. Marysville City Park, across from our riverfront, is hot spot to view several species of warblers in mid spring.
