Recreation Plan Master Plan

Every five years the recreation department is required to redo our recreation master plan to be able to apply for grants throughout the state.  The plan also provides an outline of projects and improvements to complete within our city.

Detroit Red Wings vs. Boston Bruins ~ Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Visit the Joe one last time before the Red Wings move to their new arena next season!  The evening includes a bus ride and ticket to the game, plus you can bring your own food and drinks on the bus!  Bus leaves from Port Huron Palmer Park Recreation at 5 p.m.  $65 per person

Daddy Daughter Dance ~ Thursday, February 16, 2017 ~ 6-30 – 8 p.m.

This annual Valentine’s dance will be held at Alexander’s Banquet Facility, 1200 Gratiot Blvd.  Girls bring your dad, grandpa, uncle or special Valentine to dance the night away.   Tickets go on sale Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 8 a.m.  Cost $25 per couple, $8 each additional daughter.

Mother Son Hockey Game ~ Thursday, March 9, 2017 ~ 6 p.m.

Have fun with your son taking in the local hockey team the Port Huron Prowlers!  Dinner will be at the McMorran Lounge where we’ll be joined by Mitts and have fun with raffles and pre-game activities.  $30 per couple, $15 each additional child.

Outdoor Adventures

Hockey Rinks: Marysville offers two lighted skating rinks located at the corner of 14th Street and Huron just adjacent from Marysville High School.

Sledding: Enjoy our sledding hill in Marysville City Park.  The hill is located near Pavilion 5 and across from Ella’s Playground.

Cross-Country Skiing: Check out the recently finished Cuttle Creek project in Marysville Golf Course while getting some exercise.

Marysville Community Center

Rent our center for your next gathering!  Perfect for birthday parties, family reunions or graduation celebrations. Click here for more information or call (810) 455-1301.  $40/hour for residents; $80/hour for non-residents.  One hour deposit fee is required at time of registration.
