Requirements For Registering to Vote
You are eligible to register and vote if you are:
A citizen of the United States
A resident of Michigan for not less than 30 days
At least 18 years of age
Not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony
(You may register at anytime, but registration closes for each individual
election 30 days before that particular election is held.)
Registration is permanent, however, it is necessary for you to notify the
City Clerk if you:
Have moved
Have changed your name

following:
County Clerk's Office
City Clerk's Office
Secretary of State Offices
Department of State Offices
Family Independence Agency
Any agency providing public assistance or services for person with
disabilities
Register by mail (Persons registering to vote by mail are required to vote
in person the first time they vote, unless they are members of the military,
overseas, handicapped, or a senior citizen).
Where to Vote
On Election days, the polls are open from
7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
There are three precincts in Marysville and voting takes place at the
following locations:
Precinct One: Washington Elementary School 905 16th Street
Precinct Two: Marysville High School 1325 Michigan Ave.
Precinct Three: Aug. 5,2008 Primary Election -
Temporary Precinct Change - Marysville Fire Hall - 1355 Delaware
If you are not sure in which precinct you are registered to vote, you can call the City Clerk's Office (810) 364-6613. The City Clerk remains open the Saturday prior to the election from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
