Marysville Historical Museum is located in the old city hall building in Marysville City Park. This structure was originally built for the Carpenter and Cuttle families in 1912. This building hosts room by room displays that depict living conditions of earlier times. Other rooms are devoted to particular areas of interest such as ships and automobiles. Containing an upstairs and downstairs, each floor has plenty to see and historic photos and maps are displayed throughout.
The museum is open year round by appointment only Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. The suggested admission fee is $1 per person. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Arrangements can be made for those in wheelchairs or others with special needs.
The museum is operated by the City of Marysville’s Recreation Department. The museum’s administrative offices are located at Marysville City Hall, 1111 Delaware Avenue.
